git status on workspace — any uncommitted changes lingering?
Scan for stale files or broken state in workspace
Token budget check — use session_status when available; fallback to openclaw status --usage --json and alert if any provider shows ≤20% remaining. If neither works, log "budget check skipped" in memory/YYYY-MM-DD.md.
